Thinking that Etta's youngest son was Rodger, he is ten in the census. The next child is Wilbern, he is 1 4/12. Pearl is 27 years old to J.W.'s 51 years old. The 1930 census reveals that they both married when they were 21. J.W. married Etta when he was 21. Pearl married J.W. when she was 21. The 1930 census does not give a marriage date. Thinking that J.W. and Pearl married between 1914 & 1919.
