Hi, Osborne Turpin was nephew to my grandmother, Mary Jane Turpin Luttrell. I remember Elias William (who we knew as "Uncle Chuck") My great grandfather was George Riley Turpin, who was married to Nancy Elizabeth Chumbley on 19 Oct. 1877 in Russell County, KY.
