I have found in the 1860 Casey Co., census a James and Dethis (?) Meeks with a son about 3 years old at time of census named Allen B C. Then in 1870 I find Delia (name as listed this time) Meeks head of house with the same children's names plus a couple born after Allen B (as listed in census this time), but no husband, James. Allen Meeks m. Margaret 'Peggy' Wesley and I have a parcel list of their children: James Meeks b. about 1878 Darcus Meeks b. about 1879 Archie Meeks b. 10/1882 Tommie Meeks b. 11/1884 (first four b. in Kentucky) Mary A. Meeks b. 8/1887 Walter William Meeks b. 10/1889 Lottie Meeks b. 9/1891 Mattie Meeks b. 6/1893 Jeannie Meeks b. 9/1897 (last five children b. in Texas) Does anyone have any info on this line of Meeks' or know where I may find info on them.
