    2. shari
    3. There is a Julia A. Rainwater on a Casey Co. KY marriage page that I have. It is Page 66. Julia m. Thomas W. White on Feb. 15, 1872. He could be a son of Harvy and Eliza that appear in 1850 Casey Co. KY. I need to look at their children again. I am seeking info on George White family of Forkland (Rolling Fork),Casey Co. KY. He d. 17 Feb 1824. Many of the decendents appear to be from son of George. This would be Eson White. Eson shows as Eason and Esam in censuses. He was m. to Cyrena Coulter. George White had 500 acres on Rolling Fork. He left 8 of his children 1/4 in interest bearing account. Other 7 got $1.00 each (James, Catherine, Nancy, Sally, Polly, Esther, Isabel). Widow Jane got her 1/3 at the end of Sept 1824. Jane requested George to be buried in Casey Co. KY. This was in paper after he died. 1850, District 2 Eason White, age 30 Cyreana, age 30 Parke, age 7 Isah (ISAIAH), age 5 William, age 4 Matildy, age 3 Marthy, age 6/12 mos. 1860, Post Office: Liberty White, Esam, age 40 Sirona, age 40 Parker H., age 17 Isaiah, age 15 (m. Rose Ann Brown on May 19, 1870) William, age 13 Matilda, age 12 Richard M. age 10 (Richard Morris, named after Cyrena's father, Richard Morris Coulter) Kavanaugh, male, age 8 Mary E, age 6 Drusilla A, age 4 (named after Drucilla Ellis Coulter, Cyrena's mother) 1870, Rolling Fork District. Esam White, age 50, farmer, value of real estate at 10,000, personal estate at 2274 Sarah, age 50 Isaiah, age 34 Morris, age 19 (Richard Morris) Kavanaugh, male, age 18 Ann, age 16 (Drusilla Ann) Austin, age 9 Christopher, age 9 Christopher and Austin were twins In 1880, (can't remember if it was Lincoln or Casey Co. off the top of my head) Eson and Cyrena show with twin sons, Cret P. White and Ouse P. White (b. 1860---after census). This would be Austin and Christopher. Christopher becomes Crit White. Crit m. Amanda Russell. In 1880, Dist. 5, Lincoln Co. KY, Isaiah is living with his family in Lincoln Co. KY Isaiah, age 28 Rozanah, age 26 Alice, age 9 William, age 8 Stirling (Sterling Coulter White), age 5 They are present in 1900 Turnerville--and Eson White appears living with Isaiah and his family. Eson shows his father, George, b. in ENG. My research can find nothing that says George White was born in ENG. The only White that I know of born in ENG (in Casey Co. KY) was Randolph White. Could Randolph White have been married before he married Margaret Kirland? I have George's will and he names Eson as his son. Isaick White, age 55, b. Sept 1844 (Isaiah) Rosanah, age 46, Dec 1853 Alice D. dau, age 29, b. Mar 1871 William W. son, age 27, Jan 1873 Sterling Coulter, son, age 25, Feb 1875 (became a Judge in Boyle Co.)---and went by nickname of "June" (figure that one out) Ermine, dau, age 17, Mar 1883 EASON, father, Feb. 1820, age 80, wid'd, b. KY parents b. in ENG. Burials at Brush Creek Cemetery, Casey Co. KY Charles C. White, 1894-1955 Cyrene White, 1820-1897 (w/o Eson White) Drucilla (Ann) White, 1855-1862 (Cemetery listings for Brush Creek at CASEY USGENWEB has 1835. This is a typo) James A. White, 1858-1859 (a son of Eson and Cyrena not shown in censuses due to birth and death yr.) Mary E. White, 1854-1867 (d/o Eson and Cyrena White) P. H. White (Parker H. White, Co. K, 19th KY Cav. Virginia White, 1930-1930 W. H. White, Co. B, 13th KY Cav. (could be a s/o the Hary/Harvy and Eliza White that show in Casey Co. KY censuses--have no clue who they were). This Hary/Harvy does not show in Casey censuses until 1850. "Eson's son, William, might have been too young to be in CW, but young men did go off to fight" Note: No Hary/Harvy White shows as a son in the will of George White---unless this is a middle name that was not shown in the will. I am inclined to believe it is one of Randolph White's decendents that came back to Casey. Or, Harvy might be in the line of Isaac White and Anne Reed. I have been told that Isaac's father came from ENG, but just not sure of that. Isaac shows b. in TN about 1780 or 1790. Isaiah and his family were buried at Hutsonville Cemetery in Lincoln Co. One can see pictures at the Lincoln Co. USGENWEB. Other White marriages in Casey Co. were: Do not know if this was license or actual marriage date. Galen E. White to Emily Jane Spaw on Oct. 25, 1853 (She shows as Jane White with children in 1860 or 1870 (off the top of my head). She was housekeeper to James or John Baker. Likely son of Thomas White and Tabitha Dye of Pulaski Co. KY. Thomas once lived in Casey Co. when he first came to KY from NC with his mother and step-father. Henry White to Elizabeth Rossen on Aug. 10, 1808 (Henry and Elizabeth disappear) George White to Polly Eden on Mar. 24, 1829 (s/o James White in 1820. This George became Head of House in 1830-1840---and supoosedly removed to Overton Co. TN) James White to Linday Graham on Mar. 16, 1815 (surname ofGraham shows as Greyham in early census images) Could be Eson White's brother. John White to Lucinda White to Feb. 27, 1817 (possible brother of Eson White---or in line of Stephen White and Agatha Bramblett, cousin married cousin) Mathew M. White to Sarah T. Sharp, Nov. 13, 1873 (There was a Mat White with children in 1880 Lincoln Co. KY census. M. M. White to S. M. Roland, Feb. 23, 1883 (Am told S. M. Roland was a man, yet males are listed first in this list) Robert White to Emma S. Ryder on Oct. 8, 1888 William White to Catherine Mitchell on Feb 13, 1840 (VERY LIKELY a brother of Eson White) William S. White to Mary Haggard on Feb. 1, 1887 William T. White to Clara Fair on Jan. 1, 5, 1897 John H. White to Anna Carr on Feb. 7, 1882 Some of these men could be in the Harvy and Eliza White line that appears in 1850 Casey census forward. I have not researched them. Also, one has to wonder if some of the initials were correct in transcribing. By 1880's, most names were written fairly accurate, but then again........... George White requested in his will that all his sons, except James, be bound to learn a trade or business. James was not the one in 1820 census. My 2nd great-grandfather, George Washington White, was bound to Elijah Webster on 6 Sept 1824. Brothers were Eson, Ely, William, James, Nathan, Andrew, and John. Sisters were Patsy, Sally, Nancy, Catherine, Isabel, Polly and Esther. I can't find a thing on them except for Eson--and likely William White that m. Catherine Mitchell. Brother Ely might be the one living in 1880 Cincinnati, Hamilton Co. OH with William Davis family. I have placed George's wife as Eunice Dungan (m. 12 Feb 1795 in Washington Co. VA). I placed George as the s/o Joseph White and Sarah Hutchinson (m. 1757 or 1759). Joseph Jr. remarried Sarah Headley in 1765. I may be going back to Square One with George's parents. I have been going through 50 census images for Anson Co. NC and other states. Unless George White (m. Betsy Williams) left her to go to Washington Co. VA, then this could not be my George. However, my mother left a hand written page in her Bible that stated George White was b. in NC to Joseph and Sarah. He would fit due to his age. He was at least 55 yrs. of age in 1820 Casey Co. KY. George Washington White's documents show his father was born in NC. Note: If anyone here is searching the Joseph White Sr. line of Anson Co. NC, there are a few surprises. George White that m. Betsy Williams was the son of Joseph Jr. and not of Joseph Sr. Info from Coons Family Bible gives specific birth dates for some of the White children. This verifies that Joseph White Jr. was married before Sarah Headley. George Washington White m. Lucy Ann Baker on 23 March 1846 in Owen Co. IN. They had James, Isabel, and Nancy. Isabel was my gr-grandmother, b. on 1 Oct 1849 in Casey Co. KY. James and Nancy were born in IN. George W. remarried Sarah Meloni Turner on 19 Aug 1851. He died on 18 April 1895 in Palestine, Crawfort Co. IL. Hope some of this info helps someone. I am about ready to let George White rest in peace. Oh, his widow at the time of his death was Jane E. Lewis. She remarried James Wheeler in Lincoln Co. KY in 1833. Shari
