Hi Smokey, thanks for the information. None of the names look familiar, unfortunately. My Clements line in KY didn't seem to stick around long. Andrew C (b. Goochland Co., VA 1769) came to Green Co. and married one Sarah or "Sallie" Skaggs on 6/18/93, and had seven children, Emanuel (1794), Abraham (1798), Alexander (1798), William (1802), Mary (1803), Sarah (1809), and Lydia (1815). Some time after the last one he left KY for AR, where he died in 1842 in Carroll Co. It seems that many of the children also left the area, including my paternal lineage, William, who moved to north Alabama probably in the 1820s. (I understand there was an important post road from Lexington down to Florence AL that was probably the route used.) Do any of these names ring a bell? Many thanks.
