William next showed in 1860 census and tax records of Casey Co where he died after 1870. Lemuel (Purteet) died in Union Prison in MO 1862. Both show born SC in census records. I have an Elizabeth and a Drucilla listed as sisters but there were probably more. The possibility of a connection would be greater if Manerva was born in SC or came from Campbell Co TN.
