Also, I know some of Aunt Irene's children have copies. Sharon said she has additional information about Uncle Don's family that is not included in the book since the focus of the book was on the Monday family. She said she would be happy to share this with you. The source for this information was Marshall Barlowe so if you know him, you may already have all she has.

    3. Yes. Ernie's g-uncle, Luther Coleman & two sons owned Coleman Bowling Lanes for years. Luther & most of his family are buried in Oak Hills Cem. in Cincinnati. When Luther moved to Cincinnati, he owned a boarding house & couple bar in the Elmwood area. Ernie's my first cousin. I've called most every Coleman in the Cincinnati area looking for some of Luther's descendents and had on lock. Thinking that Etta's youngest son was Rodger, he is ten in the census. The next child is Wilbern, he is 1 4/12. Pearl is 27 years old to J.W.'s 51 years old. The 1930 census reveals that they both married when they were 21. J.W. married Etta when he was 21. Pearl married J.W. when she was 21. The 1930 census does not give a marriage date. Thinking that J.W. and Pearl married between 1914 & 1919.

It's looking more and more like when it came to family Mamaw Sallie wasn't as out of touch as we thought. I seen the Carr Cemetary listed on the Casey County USGen site, but it wasn't linked so I couldn't get a transcription of who was there. Unfortunately, the Army has us stationed on Fort Hood, TX. I wish I could just drive over and see it for myself though!! It would be sooooooo much easier! Maybe one day I'll get my own private jet! LOL.

Only these four are interned, all with the surname Carr. The listing was provided by Mildred Carr Cain. It could be that Etta didn't have a marker for years, when one was erected, it was a guess at her death date. Have found this to be the case when comparing death certificates and markers in my own family tree.
