Are you related to Nelson and Oscar Pittman. We have quite a bit of info on Nelson Pittman. He is on the 1850 census in Monroe Co. Ohio. He has a bio in the Johnson Co. IN History book and his will is there also. Had a hard time finding the will; it is a big one, though. We descend from William Pittman , also. but through the uncle of Nelson. 1779 a John Jones was listed in Stanford. Humphrey's were neat Mt. Olive early as 1762 I was told, Both John and David Married to Jones Women Mary And Polly . All I can find on Humphreys is they are born in Wales??? In 1810 Census In Casey Co is listed following: Arthur Jones,Michael, William and Zadock Jones all over 45.Are they all brothers? In 1820 Allen, Arthur, David, John JR,Mochael, Thomas E. abd Zadock all over 46. Zadock lives to be 100 says he was born in Delaware. Thomas E. says he was born in Md. In 1850 a Chesley Jones age 48,Says he was born in Va. John Jones 51 says b, Ky/ Can someone please try to jelp me straighten out who my Jones are suppose to be. Thanks Jenny

Looking for any connection to a Frank Wheeler that was born 1879-80. He married Dovie Mae Cannon and lived on long Branch Rd. outside of Liberty. He has been a dead end so far.

I just recently found that my gr gr grandfathers name was Sam Russell Sam Russell married Charity Reynolds. Charity Russell shows up in 1860 census in Casey Co., KY but no Sam. (don't know where they are at before 1860) I know of some of their children - Katherine md a Walters, Ida, Isacc, Duncan md Josephine Ballenger, George W. md1 Mary Godsey md2 Ida Brown. George W Russell md 1872? Mary Godsey children; Ida,Lesty, Asa, Abraham Baugh, maybe more children. George and Mary live in Russell Co., KY according to the 1880 census George than marries 2nd 1899? Ida Brown she gives birth to my grandfather James Dewey Russell and shortly after she dies. My grandfather is given to his aunt to raise, a Mariah Brumley and her husband John Brumley. George W Russell dies in 1917 Russell Co., KY I have his death certificate. My grandfather James Dewey Russell marries Nannie Elizabeth Foster. They have 8 children. My grandparents are both deceased. My mother and some of her siblings are still living I would assume that some of my grandfathers 1/2 brothers, sister grandchildren or possible children would still be living maybe in Russell Co, Ky. His older siblings are 15 to 20 years older than him. If anyone is running these lines or could give me some help we would greatly appreciate it. Thanks Charlene tfgadomski@fuse.net

I also photographed Thomastown, Thomas Ridge, Full Gospel, Birdie Russell, South Fork and Jennie's Chapel. The latter six have not yet been posted but I will try to have them done by the end of the year.
