    3. Jenny, I think Betty Currie was referring to the political diatribe that comes at the bottom of some things----not the part of helping someone find a fellow genealogist. Am I correct, Betty? A good way f to handle this: Go to the list administrator. That way, no one will be angry or embarrassed at having this pointed out in front of us. Shari

    3. Correct, I just did not get the point of the political bit and research. Of course I am for helping anyone and everyone when it comes to genealogy. My question was to the list administrator, I thought the list administrator read e-mails before putting any e-mail on the list. How naive is that? Betty C. 2. Hven't talked with Larry for several years.....however, about 5 years back a large group of us doing research in Casey Co got together and sent Larry our Gedcoms....Larry set up a program on his computer and added all these Gedcoms into one huge file. Those of us that could handle that size was sent that file.....there are about 45,000 folks in that file with lots of duplicates as Larry did not attempt to do a Merge action.... I have that file on my desktop at home but not on this laptop.....If you give me some idea of what you're looking for I would be more than happy to take a look in Dec when I'm home (unless it's part of my family: Rainwater......A note of caution: Please don't send me a message saying "send me everything you have"....Can't handle that....on dial up at home sending that file would require many many hours and would probably end up "timed out" and unreadable.....I'm not a professional researcher, just a 76 year old fella who wold be pleased to be of some assistance if I can... 3. I am wondering if Ann ROBARDS, m. James TERRY in Anson Co. NC on 24 June 1771 was related to ROBARDS in Casey Co. KY. Also, there was a marriage of one Tod ROBARDS to Mary PICKET or RICKET in 1790, Anson Co. NC. Does anyone know anything about the Dismukes in 1810 Casey Co. KY census? I found a Geo. W. Dismukes in Anson Co. NC. Thanks, Shari

They are a James and Mary F. Coffman living in Big South Fork in Casey at both times. James was a farmer and may have been born in Ky about 1854 and both of his parents birthplace it saids Ky and his wife Mary F. may have been born about 1861 in Ky and her parents birthplaces are her father the 1900 census has him born in Tennessee and in 1910 it states he was born in North Carolina and her mother was born in KY. In the 1900 Census living with James and Mary F. a nephew named Alfred age 15 and born about July 1894 in Ky. This maybe the same James and Mary F. that were married in Casey on Feb 11, 1892. Would like to know which line of Coffmans he is from and any other info that someone would like to share. If this is the same couple that was married in 1892 I would very much enjoy more information on James and his wife Mary F.
