    3. At this time, I'm doing 2000's, 1990's, 1980's, 1970's, & hopefully will be getting the 1950's & 1960's about 4 p.m. today!!!! As I wrote this morning I've only got 1252 obituaries cataloged so far, 1990's & 2000's, I haven't put a dent in 90's. This is not an easy task. James "Sonny" Coleman PO. 3. For Miss Dixie et al.....from Old Hal in Fair Oaks, CA All this chatter regarding Cincinnati...you remember me bringing you my membership card from the Norwood roller rink.....but that really wasn't the entire story...I was born 21 Nov 1930 in Hartwell on Wiswell ave ( a better address than now I guess) but I was too small to remember Hartwell....the following year we moved to Detroit but stayed just a few months...Dad was a driver for Commercial Motor Freight. When we came back we lived on Gilsey Av in Price Hill for a number of years just off Glenway....Sister born there Sept 1936.....we left there in 1939 and moved to Riverside leaving a 2 family house for a brand new single family house....There for three years and then to Elm Av in Norwood.....after WWII started we moved to Grandma's house in Middletown as Dad was now in Operating Engrs Union and was working at building most of Wright-Patterson AFB (where I worked 1969-1977).......I left Middletown (Monroe HS) area in 1948 for the USAF.....bye bye hometown......I do enjoy reading about things in Cincy over the years.... Old Hal, whose turning 76 next Tuesday.....Wish it was a U-Turn!!!!

    3. Dixie, this happened 1974-5. Does Rumple Stilt Skins bring a memory?? It's part of the story from yesterday! If one can name a bar in Cincinnati, I probably can tell a story of some sort about it. I ran service for 30 plus years in them. One insolent was at the old Main Bar, Main & 13th. I got out of my car about 10 one Sunday morning, a man burst from the door, two women on his tail with pool sticks, you could have played a game of chess on his coat tail, he was hauling it out of there. No they didn't catch him! No, about the grave stone. I did find some 20 graves in barn, stone are buried some where around there. I think the one I have been looking for is there. Have a great week end! 2. Sheree: No, but sometimes I wish I did. Last night, my Dad decided he wanted to go back to KY. He has never been on a plane, and I am not too sure he could sit for a long trip. Both my parents were born there, and we used to go every chance we could. I can remember my DERRINGER Grandfather meeting us at the Greyhound Station with the wagon and his 2 horses. For a then city girl, that was the delight of my life. He let me "plow" the field one day, after I hounded him for hours. I was 5. I did not know that you had to lift the plow handles. I was under it reaching up as high as I could and nothing happened. I now have my own horses (no plow) and we live out in the country in Wilton, CA: which is just 20 or so miles southeast of Sacramento. Just a note to anyone on this list that may happen to be checking in on all of this. I read this list every day, and it is such a wonderful and helpful site. There is always something useful in a note that just seems to pop out if you are looking. Thank you Casey County Researchers. Dixie (SCOTT)
