    3. Larry, I can't help you with your search, but there are Turpins (note the difference in spelling) in Boone county Missouri. Most of my ancestors came from Casey county, that's where they wound up, just thought you might want to check there, good luck in your search. shirley Searching for Minor Brenton Phillips in casey county Larry Witt wrote: > Hi, > I saw the post about Turpins and wondered if anyone could help me find my > James H. 3. Hi Larry, The 1800 Census Index for Ky only list a Martin Turpin in Pulaski Co. 1810 he's still there ky 133 31131-01110-00. 1810 also shows a Moses ky 131 20010-32010-00 and a Solomon ky 132 10100-00100-00 prob. son/gr-son of Martin...If she was born before 1810 would have to go with Moses Turpin as being Father as he only one with female under 10. 1820 LDS list shows Martin Turpen still living Somerset. Moses Turpin shown ky 111 Garrard Co. so is Daniel Turpin ky 115 Garrard Co........i think this is mine.... Samuel Turpin is Ky 087 Pulaski Co as is Solomon. I don't have all 1830 Index, but there is a James Turpin,an Elizabeth, Jeremiah, and William all in Garrard Co.p.217,204,212,215. Good Luck.. Pls let me know if You find any connection to Daniel.
