    2. I am looking for a marriage record for Silas Green Burkett. He was born in 1882 in Pulaski/ Casey Co, KY so I am hoping he was married in one of these counties also. Can someone help me? He had a child born in 1912 so I am assuming he was married by this time period. Thank you.

    3. Hi Casey Researchers, I am trying to find your answer, there was an War of 1812 unit that came from that area or region. I have the information on the numerical designation, but can't find it right now. Also, there is a book, Kentucky & the Second American Revolution: The War of 1812 (Lexington, KY., 1976) Might want to try your library. It is probably out of print, however it can still be ordered. Kentucky furnished 25,705 regulars, militia and volunteers to the war of 1812 which was equivalent to four of every six males eligible in the state and this was pointed out as a model of patriotism. Moreover, unlike states that required large numbers of troops to garrison coastal defense and other forts, nearly all Kentucky troops campaigned actively against the enemy, suffering in consequence more deaths in battle than all other states combined. Their efforts and sacrifices made possible the expulsion of he British from the upper Northwest and aided in the defense of New Orleans. 3. Pat--My husband's gr-gr-grandmother was Eunice Farmer Wilkerson from Taylor County. I don't know the family you are asking about, but Kentucky has a set of volumes which gives death information for Kentucky citizens beginning in 1911. Most of the libraries in Kentucky carry this set of volumes. The next time I am at the library, I will be glad to look it up for you and see what I can find. I just can't promise when that might be. 3. I am sending out this query in total frustration. All of my paternal roots are located in Casey and Taylor County, KY. Sometime between 1910 - 1918 my Grandmother, Martha Jane Tungate Farmer (and Grandfather Mose Farmer) , gave birth to a little boy who they called Russell (could have been first or middle name). This little boy died when he was somewhere around 3-4 years old. That is all my Dad can remember and I have searched and searched for information about him. My Dad has tried to remember this child's other name, but cannot. My Dad was not born until 1924 so he never knew this little brother. I have a copy of the folks buried at the Jones Chapel Cemetery (seems to be where most of my ancestors are buried) but there is no little boy Farmer there. Does anyone on either of these lists have any suggestions or know anything about this child? I thank you so much. Pat Oxley Austin, TX

    2. Thanks for the information. I actually by grandmother (from what I was told) was born in Atterson. My Belton line is B Roy Marple m. Nancy Belton. Her parents were James & Margaret (Staton). and His parent were Abner T. Belton and Elizabeth. Do you know how these connect with Clarence or Atterson Belton. I do know that Abner T. Belton was born in 1803. Dorothy Vaughn has a family bible for John Belton who was one of Abner's sons and James' brother. Thanks Lynne Dutton
