    3. Sharon, I was interested in your post to Nell. Edmond Randolf Goode married Rhoda Ann Christison. Rhoda was the dau of James Christison and Treacy Wethington. James was bro to Nancy Christison, my wife's ggg-grandmother. James and Nancy were children of Robert Christison from MD to Lincoln County, KY before 1790. Rhoda Ann Christison's sister married Henry Wethington. I would love to have information on descendants of Edmond & Rhoda Christison Goode. I'll share what I have. 3. Hello Goode Researchers, Christy and I have just returned from Casey, Marion, and Adair Co. Wilma also came from Owenboro,Ky to Casey. Maybe we should have a Goode, Peyton, Morris, Randolph, Price roll call? We believe that Alfred Goode's first wife was Catherine Wetherington(Wethington)married 2-2-1819 in Adair Co.(child of the first wife among others was James Tilford Goode (born abt. 1826 ) Catherine d. and then Alfred mar.2nd. Mary Ward and lived in Casey . He and second wife Mary Ward, had 5 more children starting with Thomas age 5 & Ambrose age 2 on the 1850 Casey Co. census.) They also had Elizabeth, Susan and Joseph G. according to the 1860 Casey Co census. Mary Ward died sometime after 1860 Casey Co Census. He then mar. Mary Wayne in Marion Co. in 1865.(no children) My gr gr grandparents, James Tilford Goode and Mary Jane "Polly" Morris Goode, married 4th Oct 1846 in Marion Co.KY.(this according to her Widow's Pension Application affadavit) They are buried in Vandiveer Cemetary, Liberty,Ky. This is a very large family. Let's keep in touch. Just another cousin, Judy

    2. I am new to this genealogy thing, and wow, it's addictive. I've gotten information on my father's father, Vincent DePaul Goode, but all the information I have is by word of mouth. I'm looking for hard copy evidence that he existed. Supposedly, he was born in Casey county around or in 1882 and he died in Jefferson County, Kentucky in 1939. Also, I have been unable to find birth information on his father, George Alfred Goode. I also have no proof that George was his father, except by my aunt's recollection. I don't know that I am looking in the right place, but at our Library in Louisville, the archives that I've researched are microfilm, and very hard to read. If you can help me in any way I'd be very thankful. Sharamick@aol.com
