Taylor in Casey County. There are marriages for George, Henry, Jessee, John, and Samuel T. Hancock. No Hancock in 1810, 1820 census in Casey. In 1830 Census Casey, there are two Hancocks as head of Household, Anderson and William. Anderson Hancock males: 2 10 to 15, 1 15 to 20, 1 50 to 60. females: 1 under 5, 1 30 to 40. No Hancocks in 1840 Census. Two Hancock families in 1850 census online: William Hancock 28 yrs old and family & Anderson 24 yrs old and family. 1860 Census: Only Anderson Hancock and family. He's 35 yrs old and he is born in Mercer County. No Hancocks in 1880 Census Casey County.

Only later is there a Henry (who was the one who married E. Waters) Your Henry would have been born in Lincoln County not Casey County, there was NO Casey County until 1806.

They moved to Cooper county, MO. in the early 1800's and had a batch of children somewhere in that area. Children are: John, Peter, Tillman. Ira, Milton C., Polly Ann, Elizabeth, and Tilford. I suspect some died young. Most were born in the 1825-35 range. I have seen a census record that shows a Henry and Elizabeth in 1850, but this Elizabeth is named Spears, and the children do not match. Too young for my group. I have a good bit of info on Elizabeth, but have dead-ended on Henry. Any information would be appreciated.
