The vital stats on the UK url are the state vitals 1911-1995. Legislation was passed for that time frame. Earlier vital record legislation was passed from 1855 through 1902 but was maintained on a county level - not well received and the tax people collected the information rather poorly - because the law kept changing there are many years that were skipped. What remained for each is on KYA [Archives] microfilm. It is available at the Boyd County library for the state.
