Have been researching the UNDERWOODs of Carter County since 1980. In doing so I've accumulated records on HAM/HAMM, RUCKER, SALYERS, WAKER, FULTZ, PERRY, JACOBS and many others who married UNDERWOODs or came into contact through the years, including some STAMPERs and HOLBROOKs who were murdering UNDERWOODs (and being murdered by them too in a feud). Currently I don't have too much time to get in a lengthy back-and-forth about these names because one of my publishers has asked me to put two of my UNDERWOOD books on a CD. So I'm spending most all of my computer-time on this project right now to get it done.
