Waggoner has two neat signs erected in front of his business house on Broadway. 5/22/1884 There is living in or near Carlisle , KY a Mrs Catherine Waggoner at age 109 years and Mrs Rebecca Waggoner , 107 years old. They are sisters. 7/19/1883 Elliott County (Newcomb) Dan Waggoner died on the 9th, near Crackers Creek, after an illness of 12 months. 12/8/1881 Lawrence County, Ohio - Dr Joseph Beggs (sic) well known chemist and book keeper of Etna Iron Works , was found dead at 11pm nov 20th, near the house of John Waggoner and his brother-in-law William Zeek., on the river bank near the house and 1/4 mile from Etna Furnace, where the murdered man, wife and children boarded. Waggoner and Zeek are in jail to answer charges of murder.
