I am very interested in this. One of my grandfathers - Ambrose CLEMENS - had a sister by the name of Sarah. She married a man named Henry EVANS. She also joined the Mormon Church in 1912 - the same year my dad was born. He swears up and down that grandpa Ambrose NEVER had a sister named Sarah. I showed him that she did exist. My belief is that she may have been ostracized after joining a newfangled religion and was just written off. The family is from Carter Co., but Sarah did end up in southern OH.
