I have a George W. Knipp that was suppose to be in the 5th Mounted Ky. Infantry Company D under the leadreship of Capt. Leonidas H. Elliott. He died of exposure in Wise County, Va. Can someone direct me to a history of this unit and their battles? Thank you very much. Connie Canter Knipp
