All information on any KYGenWeb site is provided for FREE to all visitors. There is a site for every county in KY. The USGenWeb Project has a state project for every state, which, like KYGenWeb, has a site for every county. There are also at least a couple of other projects, the American History & Genealogy Project and the American Local History Project that also provide information to visitors at no charge. There may be others that I'm not aware of, too. For those that are not familiar with the sites listed above, the KYGenWeb site can be found at http://www.kygenweb.net the American History & Genealogy Project can be found at www.ahgp.org the American Local History Project can be found at www.alhp.org The USGenWeb site can be found at http://www.usgenweb.org

    2. Frankie, November 1, 2004 Sorry for not getting back in touch with you sooner, however, we had an illness and subsequent death in the family and October was nothing but a disaster as far as my getting anything accomplished. My brother in law, age 47, was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last November. He was on chemo and was doing very well until late September. On October 5, he was admitted to the hospital where he died on October 19th. I've been busy consoling my wife and her family and am just now getting around to answering some of my email. My wife is the oldest of ten children, age 67, and the brother that died was the youngest of ten, age 47. We knew the severity of his disease, however, no one is really ready to accept the loss of a loved one, especially at such a young age. Did you get to make the trip to Kentucky in October as you planned? I'm sorry, but some of the info you sent me re our families got deleted from my computer, so I don't really know where we were in our discussions. Perhaps we can resume our discussions and iron out some of the family matters we were discussing before I was diverted? Jim Wright..

A couple of my cousins, John and Mary Elizabeth Underwood, attended Asbury in the '50s. John later pastored a Methodist church in Frankfort. He is now retired. They were born and raised near Wolfe in the Oakland area. John graduated from Carter High and Mary Elizabeth from Erie High, another Methodist institution in Olive Hill. Fred Perry
