    1. Celia Bays, b 1884, m. Berry Parker
    2. Frankie Perry
    3. Does anyone know the family of Celia Bays? She was born April 1884, appears to have died between 1903 and 1910; married Berry Parker about 1887, and is listed with him in the Swetnam Precinct of Lawrence Co., KY. Celia and Berry had three children: Eva (April 1898), Teddy (age 9 in 1910) and Hattie (age 6 in 1910). Berry remarried late 1909 or early 1910 to an "Elizabeth". They, along with the three children are listed in the Cherokee Precinct in 1910. Thanks for any help! Frankie

    3. A little trivia, but important it you can't find you ancestor. http://www.ask.com/web?q=Peshtigo%2C+Wisconsin&qsrc=0&o=0 On October 8, 1871 (the same day as the Great Chicago Fire), a prairie fire driven by strong winds totally consumed Peshtigo along with a dozen other villages, killing 1,200 to 2,500 people and charring approximately 1.5 million acres (6,000 km²). This fire, known as the Peshtigo Fire, is the deadliest in American history. 1871 - Four major fires break out on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago, Illinois, Peshtigo, Wisconsin, Holland, Michigan, and Manistee, Michigan. The Great Chicago Fire is the most famous of these, having left nearly 100,000 people homeless, although the Peshtigo Fire killed as many as 2,500 people making it the deadliest fire in United States history.

    1. Re: [KYCARTER] Doctor Milton Williams
    2. Victoria, I have a Dr. Milton Williams, born 1819, died in 1890, and is buried in the Henderson # 1 Cemetery. Also buried there is a Mary Jane [Mollie] Williams, born Feb 7. 1845 - died Feb. 29, 1920. This Mary Jane Williams is probably your Mary Jane Henderson. Maybe some one who lives near there could get a photo of the grave stone for you. Henderson # 1 cemetery is located Olive Hill. From Grayson, go west on I-64 to the Olive Hill Exit; turn left on KY Rte 2, towards Olive Hill. Go about 1.5 mile to Henderson Cemetery Road; turn right, follow road up hill to gravel intersections, take center road up hill top cemetery. The approximate GPS coordinates are N 38 18.9735 - W 83 11.8550. Don M. sage dated 4/23/2006 4:44:42 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Hope you can help me. 3. Barbara, I understand that the census takers kept something called a mortality schedule (or something similar). These were records of anyone who died in the year immediately preceding the census year such as 1899, 1909. I have never used them but you might check them out and see if you can find your missing people. G. 2. Researchers, I would like to update my query of April 19, 2006. I have found that: Marie VINCENT was a daughter of James Richard VINCENT and Gertrude PRICHARD (parents buried at Old Vincent Cemetery). It appears that the parents of James Richard VINCENT are: James A. VINCENT and Rebecca Susan RICHARDS It appears that the parents of Gertrude PRICHARD (VINCENT) are: Green PRICHARD and Olivia unk. I also reference the 1930 Grayson, Carter Co., KY census, ED 3, in which Marie VINCENT is age 24, divorced, mar first at age 18, and living in her parents household. I have no info on Marie's first marriage. Marie died Dec 25, 2000. I hope the above info is useful to someone, Sharon
