The following articles appeared in the Thursday, Dec. 10, 1942 edition of the "Sandy Valley Enquirer". BAGBY LUMBER CO RECOGNIZED AS ONE OF FINEST IN STATE. Of course you are proud of your home because it reflects your personality to your friends. It is a silent symbol of your thrift, good judgment and individuality. To a great extent that manner in which it is maintained determines its value to you and your community. If you hesitated to make needed repairs and improvements because you thought they were expensive, then hesitate no longer. See the Bagby Lumber Company at Grayson. let them show you how low the cost of their building material is and how much better the materials are. Years of fair, square dealing with the people of Carter County stand as evidence of the position this concern has attained in this county. This corporation, with R. M. Bagby as president, J. W. Bagby, as secretary, and W. F. Wollin as treasurer and manager, remodeled its large place of business in 1939 to make it the most up-to-date lumber company in Eastern Kentucky and one of the largest. They represent all the leading manufacturers in building material industries and are able to furnish material to construct any average type of home or business building from the ground up.
