Just a note to let all know that Kathryn Salyers, the genealogist-historian of Carroll County, suffered a stroke a couple of weeks ago. She is currently in Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, not far from her home. She has lost the ability to speak, but her ability to communicate improves every day. She has been a great historical resource for Carroll County and surrounding areas. Her surname files were filmed some years ago by the LDS church, and are available through the LDS stake libraries.
