I am hoping to find someone familiar with the following Davis family that might hold a clue as to who the parents of William and Ellen (or Ella) were. In a Madison Courier article dated 1/5/1978, son Fredric ("Rack") Davis says he moved from Carrollton to Madison in about 1903. I think his mother must have died before then.
