    1. [KYCARROL] A Sincere Apology
    2. Teresa
    3. I am very sorry for the emails last night. I had surgery on Saturday, and could not sleep last night, and took some pain medication. I should not have emailed anyone last night let alone the list. Things that have been bothering me came out and I should not have emailed the list, it is not an excuse, it is a sincere apology and I promise it will not ever happen again. Thank you for your understanding. Teresa Volunteer for the Kentucky Vitals Project Find-A-Grave Contributor

    2. If you see any Twitty's in your various researches, I would be most interested. Thanks much. My husband has pancreatic cancer and I will be taking care of him here at home, he's coming home from the hospital today until he deceases and I hope the Lord will carry him home soon. 1. [KYCARROL] HELP, how can I still help reseachers with all of this...........................
    2. Teresa
    3. I only tried to help this CC on the KY GEN WEB with her PERSONAL RESEARCH, but.....................she booted me because I was helping somone that she did NOT LIKE and the STATE Kentucky CO-ORDINATOR backed her up, saying that I was NOT the Co=coorinator but instead the Assitant, and I have pictures stating that 1/2 of the website as mine, since about 90% of the information was and I had a hell of alot more for all counties, and CHERYL "Suzanne" SHERPHERD has nothing.................................................................................. THEN AGAIN, SHE WILL DO "NO' "NO" "NO' "Lookups", however, I will do some, I live in Indiana, and just across the border, let me know, and AFTER 1954..................I can DO LOOKUPS and COPIES"................. 3. So that you know what happended, and since I cannot seem to find a way back to helping you, Suzanne Shepherd decided to remove me because I helped someone else with their site............... I help a great deal of people in Indiana and Kentucky, thought I don't know alot about graphics, I do know alot about genealogy. I have been an active genealogy reasearcher for over 25 years. I was trying to collect information for other people other than my own, and I ran into a woman who 'Said" she wanted to help, but she just wanted to be in the spotlight with many many counties, in and and outside of KY, though she rarely brings ANYTHING NEW TO ANY of them that was NOT someone else's work that she stole....................... -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Re: Lots of Yelton's on this index Date: Tue, 9 May 2006 16:13:59 -0400 From: Suzanne Shephard <syshephard@charter.net> To: Teresa <teresa1961@sbcglobal.net> References: <445E1664.6000600@sbcglobal.net> <06fe01c671f8$6876c4c0$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <445F3AB7.9050000@sbcglobal.net> <078601c672a0$aaf89730$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <445F46A8.20201@sbcglobal.net> <078a01c672ef$45da6a50$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <44606D04.8080908@sbcglobal.net> <086001c6735e$bccb54c0$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <44608834.7040201@sbcglobal.net> <086a01c67367$2a509e30$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <446094C9.9010002@sbcglobal.net> <087a01c6736b$10271710$6401a8c0@your1sqlu041sp> <446098F6.2070301@sbcglobal.net> /Sorry... had to go to work for a while <g> I wish I had time to do that sort of thing for people... 3. I had been having problems with my computer and then a thunderstorm came in: Teresa, I apologize for you finding out in this manner. I have been considering for months about this and I recently decided to release you as my ACC on Carroll, Gallatin, Henry & Owen counties. I feel that there has been too much hostility and lack of communication over the past year and I just don't need it. I truly appreciate everything you have done to get these sites back on their feet. However, I don't feel I can rely on you anymore. You told me you had all this information but the only thing you have posted are obituaries. Researchers want more than that. I feel you will do an excellent job working with Find-A-Grave. They should consider themselves lucky to have you! When I contacted RW on Wednesday to have the passwords changed, I was told it would be a week or more and I fully intended to let you know before it happened but they were much quicker and then my oldest son became ill and underwent major surgery this morning. Unfortunately, the two came at the same time. Now, I'm headed back to the hospital to sit with my daughter-in-law. Again, I apologize and thank you for all you have done. I wrote to password central to see if there was a problem but it will be up to 48 hours before I get a reply. I just updated with 51 obits yesterday on that site, but today, it won't let me do anything. Any ideas? Teresa Skaggs Teresa, The repository is not viewable unless you have the password and that is only available at this time, to the committee. I never finished uploading the counties because I've been too busy. Henry and Owen have nothing in the folders. Carroll and Gallatin have a few things but no obits, no photos and no group sheets. 2. Hello! Yes, this is a very elusive family! I wish I could locate William' death record. Perhaps next week I'll be able to spend more time at the Madison library and I might get lucky and find him. I am also hoping to find more about Ella/Ellen Ritchie. The hunt continues! 3. I can't quite figure them out. In 1860 22 year old Mary Davis and her infant son William are in the household of John and Rachel Saulsberry in Carrollton, and Mary is listed as a servant. In 1870 both William and Mary Davis are listed again in the household of John and Rachel Saulsberry in Prestonsville. This John Saulsberry may not be the same as the John in the 1860 census, but both the 1860 and 1870 John Saulsberrys were born in Pennsylvania. In 1880 Mary Davis has a household in Prestonville, with son William, 21, but she has a number of other children, who are also listed as last name Davis: Sylvester, John, Nathaniel, Aaron, and Lonnie, all are 10 or under but all, like William, indicate that their father was born in Ohio. Also listed is Mary's mother, Elizabeth Bruntion. Mary indicates that her father was born in Pennsylvania. There is a Jno. Saulsberry boarding in Prestonville, indicating he was born in Ohio and age not matching the previous John Saulsberrys. In 1900 William and Ella Davis have their own household, and nearby is the household of John Saulsberry, and living with him are John and Aaron Davis, who are listed as his step-sons. This John indicates he was born in Kentucky to parents both from Germany. And I can't find any of these people in Carroll County Marriage records. 3. The file on the website is done in Excel. If you don't have Excel on your computer, you can get a free Excel viewer from a link that is provided. If anyone has further problems, just let me know.
