Looking for parents and siblings for Joseph A Foster. He states in Civil War Pension papers that he was born in 1830 in Carroll Co, KY. It had to be Gallatin Co, but he must have lived in Carroll when it was formed. He later moved on to Clinton County, Iowa where he married Lucinda Shull 9 Jul 1854. Any help appreciated. Connie S

Hellen HAYES married Herbert QUINN in 1912 in Carroll Co. Hellen's parents are Samuel HAYES(HAYS)and Drusilla "Drusie" they had three daughters Hellen, Susie and Ella. All three married in Carroll Co. I have not found Herbert and Helen on a Census or Hellen's parents. Any more information would be most welcome. Great grandfather Herbert QUINN married Hellen HAYES in Feb 5, 1912 Herbert's parents were Ben QUINN and Mary (Mollie) have found Ben and Mollie with two other sons Roy and Granville in 1920 but haven't found them anywhere else. There son Edwin is listed as being born in Mercer, Co. Herbert died in 10/17/1947 in Newport, KY but is buried in Carrollton. (haven't located which cemetery but have sent out letters of inquiries to the cemeteries in Carroll county but haven't heard back yet). Hebert's wife Hellen survived him. Any information would be greatly welcome.
