JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON LILLIAN KNAPP HAY FROM THE SPRINGFIELD (OH) NEWS-SUN. Lillian Hay, 85, of Springfield OH, died November 30, 2004 in Community Hospital in Springfield. She was born December 15, 1918 in Newport KY, the daughter of Otto and Mabel (Hargett) Knapp. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and the Young Women's Mission. Lillian worked for over 30 years at the Clark County (OH) Health Department Dental Clinic and was a receptionist for Dr. Dean Wells. Survivors include 2 daughters and son-in-law, Debbie and Tom Holmes of Springfield and Pam Hay of Springfield; son, Jay Hay of Cincinnati; 7 grandchildren, Adrienne Benton, Adam Hay, Grant (Kristen) Holmes, Allison (Mike) Dettmer, Lauren Holmes, Ben Deady and Elizabeth Deady; 3 great grandchildren, Jake Randall, Drew Randall, and Luke Dettmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband H. Kenneth Hay, 2 brothers, Donald and Robert Knapp. Funeral service will be held 3:30pm December 3, 2004 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 201 N. Limestone St, Springfield OH with Pastor Ca! rol Fleming officiating. Graveside service will be held at 11am December 4, 2004 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Covington KY. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the James Cancer Center at Community Hospital, 2615 E. High St, Springfield OH 45505.
