    2. Hi, Judy. You posted that your James H Taulbee was in Campbell county for the 1900 census. I just looked for him and did not find a James Taulbee in that county; in fact, I even looked by the name James so as to see if his last name might have been misspelled & I did not find him at all. Are you sure it's the 1900 census you found him in? If so, which county was it & how was his last name spelled? In looking through census records, I found two James H Taulbees in KY (state overall), one 4 years old and the other w/a wife but no kids yet. I found several James Taulbees (leaving the H) off in KY as a whole but I did not know enough information about your gentleman to be able to tell if one was him. After seeing the listing of James, I did a search for a Taulbee who would have been about 4 (your gr gmother whom you said was 4 on the 1900 census); this resulted in even more Taulbee children being listed & I did not know your ggm's name. Could you post a bit more information about your family? When was your James born? What were the names of his family members? And, what was that listing you had him in (the one where you said he's w/his entire family & your ggm was 4)? If you can put through a bit more about your folks, I'll look again. Pavla Chandler, TX

    3. I am so sorry I have the wrong county it should have read Kenton and should have been posted to Kenton. . Please forgive my slightly scattered genealogical brain. This James H. Taulbee was the father of John J " Boots" Taulbee that was prominent in both counties a "Peck's Bad Boy" so to speak but then what is a family without the skeletons in the closet. . Happiest of Holidays to all and forgive me again. . I will post to the correct county.
