I am not conducting the tour so I can't tell you exactly what they have in mind. I know in general the new library has a lot more computers with Internet access including access to one of the most popular genealogy sites. The Kentucky room in the old Newport library was filled with books and other material relating to Kentucky including some city directories, local information files, fairly rare Kentucky books etc. I have not personally had the opportunity to see what they may have added now that they have a lot more room. I hope to learn more myself on Thursday. You are correct however that the Kenton County library in Covington is a much better source overall for Kentucky genealogy. Daryl.
