When I discovered that a researcher in Germany had connected my ancestor Jacob Berst and his daughter Catherine to a Leininger family which lived in Newport beginning in the 1850s, I asked him how he reached the same conclusion that I had reached. He referred me to one of the volunteers at the Campbell County Historical Society. I have tried e-mailing the researcher but he doesn't answer. I have tried e-mailing the Historical Society, but it doesn't answer. I used to belong, but when I moved away, I lost contact with the Society. Does someone have a phone number for one of the officers? I would like to join again and also would like to contact this volunteer researcher and ask him how he reached the same conclusion that I reached concerning the Bersts and Leiningers. Thanks, Buffy

Campbell Co Historical our list Admin person should know who to contact, otherwise Shirly Jensen the web administration for Campbell County is also a frequent visitor to the Historical Society. Maybe Jerry isn't doing this anymore. I know he was a retiree.
