In the meantime, I have found the following mentions of the surname: Henry Sanftleben married Elisabeth Kollmann 20 Nov 1859 at Freeman Avenue United Church of Christ -- from "Restored Marriages, Hamilton Co. OH" 1850-59 Heinrich Ernst Sanftleben was buried in May of 1863 (died 9 May) age 1 yr. 6 mo. from Salem United Church of Christ. Parents' names were Heinrich and Elisabeth. I'm continuing to search and will send you any additional entries privately. There's a good chance there are more, but the very rare surname is undoubtedly mis-transcribed and misspelled.
