All I have is as follows: At a County Court began and held for Campbell County at the Brick Meeting House near Alexandria on Monday, December 14th 1840. Ordered that Elijah Herndon, John Anderson, John Ducker and William Newman or any three of them being first sworn do allot dower to Mary Campbell in the Estate of John Campbell dec'd and report to Court. Elijah Herndon was married to Mary Rardin Campbell's sister. John Anderson was married into the Carmack family who were connected to the Rardin/Campbell's If anyone has ANY info that would help solve this mystery, it is greatly appreciated.
