They had two children together, Charles Aloysius (AKA Aloysius) b.abt 1857 in John's HIll and Barbara b about 1858 also in John's Hill. (I have those children's birth and death records). The Barbara I'm hunting for died between 1857-60. Nicholas then married Louisa Kneipp in 1860 in John's Hill. She may also have a son named John Fortman.
