Am researching a William Holman Jones who was born in 1817 around Louisville KY to a slave holding family. Moved to Indiana and married Catherine Messick in 1839. Moved to Cass County, Michigan; Brown County, Kansas; McDonald County, Missouri; and died in 1890 in San Benito County, California. Parents of this WHJ unknown. Any relation to William Holman Jones IV (1855-1934) and William Holman Jones V (1882-1947) of Newport? WHJ IV grandson of Mordecai Jones, son of James Harvey and Mary Ann Bartle Jones. Married Emma Braun in 1893 and gave birth to WHJ V. WHJ V married Phillipina Riedinger and had two daughters, Mary (b. 28 Aug 1911) and Rieba B. (b. 24 Sep 1916). Thanks in advance, Debian Marty
