I am interested in that question also. I know that the Alexandria has some death records from the 1850s but I am not aware of their having anything from the 1890s. There are some Newport Death records (lists) from 1884-1928 on microfilm at the Covington Library. They sometimes include people from outside Newport but I doubt they would have much from the southern part of the county. P.S. Welcome back Mr. Tippet.
