The only thing I don't see is my grandfather, Andy (John Andrew) Emerson. He would have been 5 yrs. old, and his mother's name was Frances (spelling could be off because she was born in France.) My grandfather lived in Menifee County when he got married to Mary Ann Clifford June 1, 1899. Andy's mother, Frances was with them in 1900. No sign of her after. My grandmother, Mary Ann, died in Frenchburg, Menifee County, Oct. 11,1911. My grandfather, died in Menifee County, when he was struck by lightening along with Charlie McKenzie while working in a field. They had to be buried right away, because they were so blooted from the heat. So he must have died in the summer. I'm not sure of the year. I don't think he is on the 1920 census. Would they have a death certificate for him if he didn't have a funeral? Would I need the date that he died? My father said his dad died on his birthday (he was born Jul! y 15, 1905). Suzanne
