I have an index to Marriage Records of Campbell Co., KY 1795 -1840, by Kraft. I have a copy of the pages up to 1830 NO Thomas Logan listed. Their daughter was born in Ohio and 24 years old in the 1850 census. Yes in the Census he is listed as Sheriff, I know how frustrating this can be. Also you wonder why the different ages, in the census listing. Two marriages? In the Campbell County Court house, there are many different books, and files with indexes. Two Thomas Logan's in Hamilton Co Ohio in the 1840 census, One is age 20 - 30 and wife about the same and no children. Could they have been married in Hamilton Co. Says Ward 4 Cincinnati. The other one is Ward 7 Cincinnati. Male in 30 to 40, 1 female age 5-10, 1 female age 15-20, 1 female 30-40, People moved back and forth across the river so much.
