Surnames: Pelstring, Haringer, Harencourt Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gAB.2ACI/1961.1.2 Message Board Post: The document that was handed down from my grandmother listed a maiden name of Geringhardt. We know believe that it could have been Haringer as a Marie Haringer married George Pelstring in 1864. The hard part has been trying to narrow down her last name. I know that she passed in 1890, I have found an obituary for her that shows a maiden name of Harencourt??? Also obits for a Barbara Harencourt/Georg Harencourt. Possible this could have been her mother & stepfather. There was no indication of a father accompanying mother & 2 daughters - just an uncle when they came to the US shortly before the civil war.
