    3. Hi Lorna, It is always fun tracing the Robinsons. I had a John Robinson that died in Newport in 1912 but I think I can safely say there is no connection with your group.. If I were you my first stop would be the Kenton County Public Library in Covington because they have old city directories covering Newport and also old newspapers on microfilm which have a partial index available through their website at : http://www.kenton.lib.ky.us/genealogy.html I checked the Kentucky death index and found an Anna Robinson that died in Campbell County in 1913 but the age seemed wrong. The newspaper index showed an obituary listing that Anna as mother of Lafayette Robinson so I ruled her out. Then I found a couple of interesting stories in the index. One dated 29 Jul 1914 is titled "Died in Buffalo" and has the subject listed as Anna Robinson. One dated 31 July 1914 is titled "Funeral on Saturday" and the subject is listed as Anna E. Robinson. You would need the microfilm to say for sure but I think your Anna died in New York and was brought back to Kentucky just like her husband was several years later. There is also several articles in November 1906 regarding the trial of Lena Schott who was charged with pushing Anna Robinson. I don't know if that was your Anna Robinson or not without seeing the articles. I tried to find an obituary for your John Robinson but didn't find one after a quick search. I didn't try the children's names but you might find some information on them in the online index. I hope that is some help. 3. Hi Daryl, I will most certainly follow up on the Ky. newspaper clippings that you found and also do an obituary search for the area of New York that Anna Robinson possibly died in. Thank you for suggesting places to search and giving me a nudge in the right direction. Thank you for everything!!! Regards, Lorna Daryl wrote: >Hi Lorna, > >It is always fun tracing the Robinsons.
