My Gr parents were in Newport but their families were around Alexandria. My GrGrGrmother was Anna Marie Schmidt and she married a Johannes Weinel. Their daughter was Anna Marie Weinel and she married William Albert Youtsey. This was before your dates. Don't know much about the Schmidts other than they came from Mittel-Grundau, Germany. Anna Marie Schmidt had a brother John Schmidt who married a Josephine ? Also had a sister Katherine but this was before your dates between 1846 and 1919. If you can give me a little more info maybe I can help you. Also I noticed in one of your other queries that you have some Darlingtons in your family, that was my maiden name and my dads family were from WV. Do you have any info on this family? I just looked at some other info that I have and found an Anna Elizabeth Smith with sisters Amelia Louise and Katherine Louise and brother Harry John Smith. I know that these names are off but that is what I have. They were the children of Anna Marie Hess and William Conrad Smith. Don't know any marriage dates. Let me know if any of this makes sense. MAM
