    3. Thank you Phyllis. I never picked up on the fact that my Joshua Robinson was a close neighbor to Samuel Peacock in 1863 but I had some old notes on Samuel Peacock as a possible connection to Joshua's wife. I reviewed my notes and did some additional research tonight. I found Samuel Peacock in the Census in 1860 Hamilton County Ohio , 1870 Clermont County Ohio and 1880 Campbell County Kentucky in Bellevue. The Peacocks listed in the 1890 Bellevue City Directory turn out to be Samuel's widow and children. I also found the family in the 1900 and 1910 census. Does anybody have access to a searchable 1850 Census index? We need to find a Peacock family showing both Hannah Peacock about age 17 and Samuel about age 25 - 30. Both shown as born in New Jersey. 3. Sounds like we suddenly have several people searching for the Peacock family in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area. I have a Hannah J. Peacock born ca 1833 in New Jersey per census records. The first place I found her is her March 28, 1852 marriage to Joshua Robinson in Cincinnati Ohio, Joshua was an Iron Molder and lived in the eastern part of Cincinnati where I always suspected he was involved with building steamships. Hannah and Joshua Robinson later moved across the river into Newport. Bellevue is right next to Newport and is across the river from Cincinnati. I have never been able to tie my Hannah Peacock to parents or siblings. Lets compare some notes. Daryl Polley. 3. These restored record books are available in the Cincinnati Public Library. They probably would research a particular marriage for you. The records referred to are generally newspaper accounts or from church records. Hamilton County Probate Court has the records that have survived and are available to the public in a stafffed reference room. Call the probate court and see if they can help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "daryl polley" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, October 11, 2004 2:43 AM Subject: Re: [KYCAMPBE] Re: Restored Marriages - Hamilton Co., OH >I can answer those questions.
