    1. Re: [KYCAMPBE] NEED HELP with Kiser Family
    2. I have 2 KISER's in my data base: A JAMES KISER is on the Flagg Springs Baptist Church Minutes for giving $1.00. in 1874. A HARRIET KISER married THOMAS BHYMER on Aug 21, 1853 in Clermont County, OH. Thomas was the son of MARTIN BHYMER and LUCY BEAGLE. Thomas BHYMER was born 1825 and died sometime after 1851. My family is the LUCY BEAGLE family and BHYMER family. They are both found as members of the 4 Mile Baptist Church as early as the 1798-1820 period. The BHYMER and BEAGLE families were located at the mouth of the 12 Mile Creek on the OHIO River (near where Oneonta is located now and California). Thomas BEAGLE family there in court records by 1807. BYHYMER family in 4 Mile church notes for 1814-1820. 4 Mile Primitive Baptist Church was located just off the Washington Rd and 12 Mile Creek. It was founded in 1798 and may be the earliest BHYMER family is almost all found on the Clermont County, OH side after 1830 or so. Karen Beagle

    1. Re: [KYCAMPBE] Re: California, and Hedges ferry
    2. I can't believe it. Just by coincidence, I was entering 1880 Census data of Mason Beagle and Mary Jane Parker of Campbell Co., KY (Moved to Morgan Co., ILL.) I was looking up the PARKER family history (such as I have) of Campbell Co. Here's an entry I have on Hedges Ferry: Campbell County Court Order book 5, page 129 May 1845--HENRY PARKER b 1808 was a neighbor of JESSE BEAGLEb 1812. They were working on a road from the mouth of 12 Mile Creek and Hedges ferry. (Henry Parker is on the 1850 Census for Campbell County.) MASON BEAGLE, brother of JESSE BEAGLE married Mary Jane Parker, sister of this Henry Parker. Their father, HOSEA or HASEY PARKER b ca. 1765 is mentioned in Court Order Books in the early years 1810-1830 on various road-surveying tasks along with neighbor THOMAS BEAGLE b. 1864. The 1883 Map of Campbell County has the location of the Beagle and Parker households on it. This "Elizabeth Beagle" designation on the map is the original homestead site of THOMAS BEAGLE in 1807. I am assuming the HEDGES FERRY was somewhere near the location of these two early properties. This is close to where Oneonta and California are now. I think Oneonta is what was originally called "12 Mile" but I am not positive. The 12 Mile Baptist Church is situated on the Washington Rd and on 12 mile Creek. The Beagle and Parker families were active members of this church started in 1818. Would also love to know more about the early ferried including Kennedy's ferry. These ran regularly across the river to OH side and many, many Campbell County families are found on BOTH sides of the river, including our own BEAGLE, BEAVER, and MITCHELL families from 1818 12 Mile Baptist Church. Sincerely, Karen Beagle PS I do believe in ESP, because I don't know how I would ever have come across this entry not more than two hrs ago about HEDGES FERRY, before seeing your e-mail.

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/gAB.2ACI/1973 Message Board Post: I have finally gotten around to making My Kentucky Death Certificate CD number Two. Here are the rules and the changes for contributing and obtaining a CD. 1. you MUST submit atleast 5 death certificates to the project. I would prefer the Death Certificates to be hard copies mailed to me at my home address. The reason I am requesting hard copies is that I would like to donate them to the library here in town. However, if it isn't possible I know some people have them on their computer and not a hard copy. Then they must be sent to me as a JPEG and I HAVE TO know in ADVANCE before you send them so my inbox doesn't become over loaded. 2. The Death Certificate MUST have a Kentucky connection. 3. It was requested last time that there be some contact information on the Death Certificate. This is to difficult for me to do or to time consuming, but if you want to hand write your e-mail address on the Death Certificate this would be a great way to pass along the information in case someone sees a connection. 4. The price has gone up. Last time it actually cost me money to make the CD so this time the cost is $3.00 per CD. Yes, you can order more than one CD but remember there is a minimum of 5 Death Certificates per CD. The reason for the minimum is that I want to fill up the CD to make it more useful for all. Right now I have approximately 1,000 death certificates and the CD will hold about 2,000. The last CD contained 1,940 Death certificates. 5. Checks and DC's Can be mailed to me at Cassy Sommers 1407 Woodwind Ct Corbin, Kentucky 40701 6. There will be no exceptions this time the CD will go out by January 15th with or without the 2,000 DC's if we get that many before the 15th it will go out sooner. Hope all will join in and please feel free to pass this message around to anyone who has a Kentucky connection. Cassy. PS visit me at Tombstone Central
