They had two children together, Charles Aloysius (AKA Aloysius) b.abt 1857 in John's HIll and Barbara b about 1858 also in John's Hill. (I have those children's birth and death records). The Barbara I'm hunting for died between 1857-60. Nicholas then married Louisa Kneipp in 1860 in John's Hill. She may also have a son named John Fortman. He is listed in Nicholas Yeager's will as step son. I would love to have a record of their marriage and her death. Please email me at carolsanman@cinci.rr.com. Thanks. Carol

If you or your cousins are male and carry the Minor, Miner last name--or should but don't due to past parental divorce or an adoption, I hope that you will participate in one of these studies. We personally believe this will be the only way we can figure out where our Minor, Miner ancestors came from, and how the various Minor, Miner family groups are interrelated. More information about the studies can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/minordnaproject/index.htm Please contact me Jim Carpenter by clicking on the email icon on each home page if you have questions about these studies.

    1. Re: [KYCAMPBE] Geo. or Benjamin Perry 1816
    2. Here is anothre idea. Since their seems to be a full roster of PERRY's getting married from 1805-1812 and after, I would check the 1810 Census for Campbell County and see if you could find out who the father is. It won't name the mother, but would give the number of children, which ages they are, etc. and you could see which other families are on the page with them. It would give you the pioneer PERRY and where he had come from, most likely VA or PA, possibly MD. Karen Beagle

    1. Re: [KYCAMPBE] PERRY 1816 and VICKERS, MCCLURE
    2. Hello, I looked up in my data base for Campbell County PERRY. I have quite a few going back as early as 1800. Quite a few marriages, and relationships with the McClure and VICKERS families. Some odds and ends: SAMUEL PERRY-was bondsman for the wedding of JOHN GRIGG and ELIZABETH WATERS Nov 1812 in Campbell County. (Kraft-Campbell County Marriages) JOHN PERRY-born abt 1800 married SARAH born Feb 14, 1807 and died Aug 16, 1866 in Campbell County. She is buried Old Licking Baptist Church Cemetery. He is on the roster of the 48th Regiment of KY Militia of 1821 under Captain John MCCLURE. DAVID PERRY-. Married Larabelle MCCLURE, daughter of JAMES MCCLURE. On Jan 30, 1841, a DAVID PERRY and ELIZA PERRY joined the 4 mile Baptist Church by experience (transferred from another local Baptist Association church) (from 4 mile Baptist chruch minutes hand copied and sent to me by Jean Houston. This could be a son of DAVID or one of the PERRY brothers. I have quite a few more Campbell County marriages from 1810-1840 with VICKERS and other Old Licking Baptist Church families. ELIZA LYDIA KING BEAGLE married a Edward Payne PERRY ca. 1895 so there were still PERRY's in Campbell County. Her father was THOMAS WARREN BEAGLE, grandson of THOMAS BEAGLE, above. (that would make at least 4 generations of PERRY in Campbell Co., KY) It appears that there were quite a few PERRY males in the 12 mile and Alexandria area for a period of at least over 40 years. I am not sure if they came to Cambpell County together, or if they are all sons of the first PERRY pioneer????? CD ROM 229 Southern Marriages has all Campbell County Marriages for this early period. You could find it in a major library or LDS Center. I have interest in all the pioneer families of 4 Mile Primitive Baptist Church started in 1796 and the 12 Mile Regular Baptist Church which split off and started in 1818 because of our THOMAS BEAGLE and WM THOMPSON ties to those churches early on. There are 3 BEAGLE boys who served under Captain John McClure along with JOHN PERRY. They were all sons of THOMAS BEAGLE and wife Cecelia Wine Beagle who were active in the 4 mile and 12 mile churches above. The Old Licking Baptist Church was a send-off group from the 12 Mile Reg Baptist Church which included the VICKERS, THOMPSON's, and others. My best guess is that your GEORGE PERRY was another brother of son of one of these pioneer PERRY's were were married from 1805-1820 or so. You might want to look through early Campbell County Court records. There should be road-building activities noted which would tell you the general vicinity of the PERRY farmsteads and who their close neighbors were. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want additional information. I have a few more PERRY entries (mainly marriages) in my data base, including women. Happy hunting! Sincerely, Karen Beagle
