Hi John, I have also seen it both ways, Campbell Co., and Pendleton Co. It is currently in Pendleton County (but very close to county border). I visited that graveyard when I was there and found some BEAGLE's and others. Many families had members buried at both church cemeteries. It was a church plant from the Flag Springs Baptist Church who sent a large group to start Peach Grove-I need to look up the date. I want to say late 1840's. It is about 3-4 miles away from Flag Springs, I would guess. Flag Springs was constituted in 1833 (I have copy of the constitution and the founding members, most of which were BEAGLE and THOMPSON family members or in-laws! It was on a 1 acre donation of WM THOMPSON's 1000 acres original Patent of Flag Springs from 1785. Karen Beagle
Is this cemetery in Campbell County or Pendleton County? I've seen it both ways. John Charles Tippet johntippet@cox.net

Thanks for the reminder. I do have John Tippett's e-mail address. Thanks. Karen B.
I am interested in that question also. I know that the Alexandria has some death records from the 1850s but I am not aware of their having anything from the 1890s. There are some Newport Death records (lists) from 1884-1928 on microfilm at the Covington Library. They sometimes include people from outside Newport but I doubt they would have much from the southern part of the county. P.S. Welcome back Mr. Tippet. I don't know for sure but my best guess would be that a temporary e-mail problem caused repeated e-mail bounces and caused you to be automatically unsubscribed. So, for an 1891 death certificate, I would go to the Alexandria Courthouse and not Newport? There are death certificates but not on line. I have spent about 3 weeks working that Courthouse in Alexandria, in the last 10 years. The books are numerous and not in any kind of order. You really have to spend time there working them. I have both the website listing of that cemetery and also the one from the Kentucky Genealogsit quarterly vol 25 page 61 and vol 26 page 95 and no Pickelheimer's are listed. White funeral did burials on both sides of the river. www.ancestry.com 1870 census lists her in Goshen, Clermont Co Ohio with a husband by the name of Thomas but not the same age as your's would have been in 1870. She was 30 with 3 children. I also noticed a lot of them in Cincinnati, OH on the search list at www.ancestry.com. If you don't have access to this website, I can do some looking for you. Please look at the the Kentucky Times Star, Pg. 12, of May 31, 1915. Copies should be available at the Kenton County library in Covington, Ky

Where on York street was this church located? Whats the address? Thanks. Timothy Rall My husband's family attended the Congregational Church and he thinks he recalls it as being on York between 6th and 7th. By 1999 the church attendance was so small they just called it quits. My husband's uncle had bequeathed a sum of money to that congregation and after his death my husband had to sign permission for the money to be given to the parent church. We do not remember what the name was or where it was. This probably doesn't help, but I thought you might find it interesting. Joan in Scottsdale, AZ
