My friends - I am glad to report that no more "incidents" occurred today, and I have now been able to catch up with requests so that we can move forward with more data. We are moving back over to Calloway County today, to resume our review of the supplemental Vital Statistics birth records for that County for 1878. I should mention again that when I use the word "Supplemental", this does not refer to any official terminology associated with the original records - this merely denotes that we had finished the original VS series for the 1874-1877 time frame, and I discovered later that I had transcribed the remaining year(1878) and that is what is being presented here. Subscribers to the JP and Calloway lists can obtain the full dataset for a birth shown in the listing below by sending a request to me. These datasets generally include the date of birth, the gender of the child(if not obvious), the name of the father and maiden name of the mother, and the birth place of each. As always, your assistance in not resending this entire message back to me with the request continues to be appreciated.
