My friends - I am dropping by today to let you know that I have converted another of the miscellaneous files from the old 5" floppies into usable format and it is ready for distribution. This one contains the burials, to about 1983, in Bethel Cemetery in Calloway County. I have offered the Graves County Bethel Cemetery in the past, in case the name sounds familiar. This is a medium size cemetery, with perhaps 150 burials in it. The earliest birth year which I noticed was 1800, but there are some other early pioneers buried here, including Rev. Luke Dees, an early minister in Calloway County. Specifically, the surnames found in this Cemetery are: Bailey, Boggess, Burnett, Bynum, Cavender, Clark. Holland, Davis, Dees, Dick, Dodd, Dunn, Eldridge, Hale, Futrell, Ferguson, Phillips, Holloway, Hood, Hornbuckle, Moore, Ingram, Jones, Lee, Lockhart, Martin, Mitts, McDaniel, Mathis, Nanny, Young, Poyner, Rowland, Wymore, Wells, Schroader, Smith, Steely, Thomas, Sutherland, Thorn, Vinson, Watkins and Tolly. Subscribers to the lists which I host can receive a copy of this file by sending a message to me(not to the List, please). Please request the *BethCal File* (in order to differentiate it from the Graves Bethel Cemetery File). The file is available in both Plaint Text format and Adobe Acrobat PDF. The file will be sent as a plain text attachment to an e-mail message unless PDF is requested. The file can also be sent in the body of an e-mail message, if attachments are not workable, although this will often skew the columnar alignments.
