My friends - On my last night in Oklahoma, we are continuing we our Jackson Purchase Vignette series, with a focus on Calloway County. I am "borrowing" (with permission) from a posting of our good friend, Sandi Gorin, to the KYBIOGRAPHIES List, the bio on Charles William Milliken, who was born in Calloway County, but removed with his parents, back into "Old Kentucky" at an early age. He is one native Calloway Countian who achieved the distinction of serving in the United States Congress. As I mentioned earlier in the week, since I will be traveling, there will be no data post tomorrow.
