I have noted several occasions when there have been tie-ins between Wilson County, Tennessee and Calloway County, Kentucky, including a recent posting on this list. My own ancestor settled in Wilson County (abt 1808), then moved to Calloway County between 1826 and 1829. Later, sons of this ancestor moved back to Wilson County (by 1850). I was wondering if anyone could share some insight on the historical, physical and cultural environment that might have made migrations take place between these two counties.
