If you have any questions, please contact me off the list at mere_thom@runbox.com *********** The Holiday Inn in Anderson, Indiana (Exit 26 on I-69; 40 minutes outside Indianapolis) will play host to the Indiana Genealogical Society's annual conference on Saturday, April 2, 2005. George G. Morgan, noted author and columnist for Ancestry.com, will speak at four sessions: Preservation of Your Family's History and Treasures; Genealogy Orienteering: Using Maps to Find The Right Place; Bring 'Em Back to Life: Developing an Ancestor Profile, and "Tell Me About When You Were A Little Girl": How to Conduct A Family History Interview. Other sessions will focus on preserving photos, using school records and researching Catholic ancestors. There will be various vendors (including the Illinois State Genealogical Society and the Ohio Genealogical Society) and a Computer Resource Center staffed by IGS, where you can view demonstrations of websites, data CDs and other software. The Anderson Public Library ( <http://www.and.lib.in.us/> http://www.and.lib.in.us) will have a Research Lock-In on Friday, April 1st from 5 to 8 pm.
