Could anyone please tell me (without having to do a lot of research) where Boatright or Boatwright and Brandon would be located now or the general area? My grandmother Edith (Evans) Hendrick wrote in her Bible that she was born and was married in the Evans' home in Boatright, Kentucky. As the Evans farmed, I wondered if Boatright were a village or simply a postal address. The Evans' homestead was located on a hill overlooking the riverbottom of Tennessee River. The family called it Evans Point, but I have no idea what it is now, and my memory isn't telling me how to get there--it's been so many years. We have a reprint of an 1865 map of Ky. and Tenn. but Boatright is not located on it. It does show where Brandon's Ferry was located--would that be Brandon, Kentucky? Many thanks in advance. Judy
